Russians sheltering off Scotland
« on: December 14, 2011, 07:44:30 PM »
Not sure if this has been covered or even 100% correct, but Ship-tracking.co.uk is reporting that a Russian flotilla is sheltering in the Forth of Moray from bad weather. The flotilla is headed by aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov. HMS York has apparently left Portsmouth to keep an eye on them.
See: http://www.ship-tracking.co.uk/JAlbumnews/Recentnews/index.html

Regards
Steve

Why not take a look at my blog "SHIPS AND BOATS IN LONDON". It's my take on the river traffic in the City.

I'm sure I saw a headline in a Scottish Sunday Newspaper on 18th December 2011 that it wasn't only the Russian surface fleet that was seen as a Submarine was detected in the area too.
