Mersey Mammoth
« on: November 25, 2011, 09:20:00 AM »
I am led to believe that the self-propelled crane barge Mersey Mammoth has been sold to new owners and is due to depart Liverpool shortly, attended by the tug Hibernia IMO7719686, bound for Ghent.

Any intel out there?

Reported for a little while as sold but this is first I've heard of Ghent as destination.  Always some forboding when Ghent is mentioned.  Incidentally, MERSEY MAMMOTH has had only one engine operational for some time.

Meanwhile, very pleasing for the Scousers that HIBERNIA ex-INDOMITABLE returned to the Mersey after a long time away.
