Shuttle tanker M/T Gerd Knutsen bound for Brazil
« on: March 05, 2010, 03:23:08 PM »
Hei!

My vessel, the shuttle tanker M/T Gerd Knutsen, just got confirmation to head for Brazil. As far as we know it will be shuttle tanking. According to our agent ports mentioned are Santos, Salvador and Recife.
Does anyone know if these ports have terminals and also if there are any specific fields serving these terminals?
If anyone in Brazil knows something, we are happy for any information!
Knutsen OAS havent really told us much....!

Brgds
Christian!

See announcement for shuttle tanker contract award to Knutsen.
But this Oil-field is Indonesia?

And this info

is pertinent to Brasil but not  for the right vessels.
A switch in vessels likely.

The field Tove Knutsen is heading for is in the Philipines.

Don't know if the contract Gerd Knutsen just got, is a "pre-contract" for the two newbuildings.
As I said; we don't know anything at all...!

According to this article in Norwegian newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad; Gerd Knutsen is now on a 36 months contract with spanish Repsol lifting cargoes from various FPSO's in Brazil and shuttle them to US and Spain.
