The ferry prinsesse ragnhild is aparantly adrift outside the south of norway, early reports tell of a fire in the helpengine, and smoke in the corridors. Reports also told of loss of light and power. Ghazten sandefjord Norway

The Prinsesse Ragnhild arrived safely at Stavanger early Sunday morning according to Boarding.no. The cause of the heavy smoke developing is said to have been an explosion in the exhaust manifold.

These are some of the problems. All in all, she still is a mighty fine vessel, i travelled on her many times. This was the last vessel my late grandfather worked on. Best regards ghazten sandefjord Norway

This nice Ship getting old. I sailed on her, last time this fall and you can see the many years she's on service in mostly every part of the ship. Sad but true. Things change... Let's see what Color Line will do with the Kronprins Harald when Color Magic comes into the Kiel-Oslo Route.

And today the news broke that the old lady have to cancel all departures for some time. The damage was aparantly bigger than expected. Sad.
