Older Dutch inland vessels

Although I do not undersand much about it, before (and it seems overlapping with) the IVR/ENI numbering, there was another system - I thnk called the "Brand" which was seemingly more port related.  Is there an explanation of this system somewhere (in Dutch is fine so long as I can let Dr Google loose on it)?
Is it possible to "decode" these?  Were there ever registers for them?

For example, with an apparent port of registry of Amsterdam, this former Dutch barge has "795 BLIED 1929"

It was registration system I was looking for, but I found that NIEUWE ZORG has been berthed at the same place at Brentford, West London since at least 2013:

The mentioned 795 BLIED 1929 is in fact 795 B LIED 1929, LIED is the town Leiden in the Netherlands, 1929 the year the vessel was built.
Archive of the “Scheepsmetingsdienst” shows for this registration: NIEUWE ZORG, built 1929 by yard H. Haring at Boskoop, 21.05 x 4.15 m.
Because Boskoop is close to Leiden, Leiden was the district for measurement of the vessel.

The vessel was during her lifespan measured / remeasured three times, latest length was 27 m and registered as pleasure vessel (“weekend house boat”).

But difficult to understand, even for Dutchmen.

A belated thankyou, Pieter_I.  With this, building on the links from Pieter_M, and your detailed response on VAGABOND at https://www.shipspotting.com/photos/3365386 , I will have a go using these tools with the next one I come to.  I think that I may come to the main difficulties in translating the manuscript text on the data cards.  I will let you know how I get on in due course.
