Using GOOGLE MAPS in Cheduba Island, Myanmar (Burma).

I come across this at this location:

18°47'42.8 "N 93°31'08.8 "E

A sunken ship is visible and I said let's investigate a bit.

Using GOOGLE EARTH I SEE THIS:


GOOGLE EARTH image from December 2013:

As you can see there is no ship


GOOGLE EARTH image from October 2015:

A stranded or abandoned ship is seen.


September 2018 GOOGLE EARTH image:

A wrecked ship is seen


Does anyone know what ship it is?

Not found report of this wreck on Munaung, or Cheduba, Island, Burma/Myanmar in 12/2013-10/2015 time frame.

Just to note that there was a ship that went aground off the island a little earlier, on 1 August 2013:

Indonesian-flag GLADYS - but she was a containership (IMO 8908002) and presumably refloated as reported arriving Chittagong as LADY on 19 October 2014 for demolition [Miramar]

Exactly I also did not find report of this shipwreck in Munaung, or Cheduba, Island, Burma / Myanmar in 12/2013-10/2015 time frame.

Researching I also thought it was the GLADYS O LADY.

But it is not the LADY (ex-Gladys ex-Bunga Kenari). IMO 8908002

It is clear that one is a container ship and the mystery ship is a cargo ship.
