UPDATE - OSTEND SPIRIT sailing tonight 1900 Tilbury

OSTEND SPIRIT has a pilot ordered and will be departing at 1900 this evening from Tilbury Dock.    A real shame as being so dark, i doubt many people will catch her departure on camera

She is sailing at 13.3 knots off of Bournemouth destined for Aliaga,Turkey ETA 12th November 2013 at 10:50

She passed south of Almeria this morning, POFE(now Sherbatskiy) outward bound was just over 20 miles away!! Strange to think both served TEF as well, POC definitely condemned ahead of her time, demonstrated by her ability to get there under own power.

Many ships get there under their own power!, no one wanted to buy her and then spend an awful lot of money on some series work to ready her for a new route, the ship had 24years with P&O and was purpose built for a particular route,the Greeks would normally be all over these ships but those days are long gone now !
