Maersk Edmonton will be joined in calls at Felixstowe by Maersk Elba on 01.11.13, 17.01.14, and Maersk Eubank on 08.11.13. The introduction of the Triple E's is resulting in cascading of vessels.

Was the Eugen Maersk call at Felixstowe just an ad-hoc, then, Alan?

Hi Chris, It appears that Eugen Maersk called at rather short notice on a diversion from her normal route. I would agree with your report when you mentioned that she cleared Felixstowe of a good number of empty containers.

I believe the Eugene also called Flx as she is cutting out Baltic port calls in order to get back on schedule after her onboard fire.

In the near future Emma Maersk (PS) class vessels will also start to cascade on to the AE2 service.

Regards
Andrew
