Hi,

some pics of my HANSA-A type steamer, which kid was sold 5 times by myself. Here you can see some pics of my own vessel, when it was built. HANSA was the german answer to the U.S.-Liberty programm! HANSA vessels were built in three categories:

  - 3000ts --> HANSA-A
  - 5000ts --> HANSA-B
  - 9000ts --> HANSA-C

This programm includes some tugs, too.

Shipping News and information / Re: An "Old Lady" returns back home
« on: December 23, 2006, 01:35:42 AM »
Hi @ all,

I heard and read it in the newspaper today: Old Lady was bought by "Stiftung-Maritim" in Hamburg for their harbour-szenario. The OLD LADY (former BLEICHEN) was one of a lot of sisters, which were built in my hometown Rendsburg in the 1950'ies for several german owners, for example H.M.G and ERNST RUSS. She was the last of this beauties. More information under:

Hi Guus,

at this time, I've got some plans of NEPTUN421 vessels, built by Neptun/Rostock.
 Now I'm searching for plans of German Liberty & 36L type vessels. Many thanks for your info! Do you know some adresses, where I can get some plans of 36L+German Liberties?

Hi Milind,
thanks for your interest!

For building the hulls,I take GFK (fibreglass)! The original form (kernel) is wooden made (balsa+plywood).

I've seen some pics of submarines here. But another posting in this forum from january/06 means, you can't upload pics here. What a pitty!
