This was already plan to go there. It was a big surprise for him to see the ship going out of the saguenay river. The ship just past about one or two hour at Grande-Anse. A very quick stop.

According to Siitech, Terry Fox is near Baie-Comeau and is supposed to go to Saguenay River. Michel and Robert will propably see her in next couples hour.

Hi Mac,

This is the old company Davie Yards that can go bankrupt. The new owner Chantier Davie Canada inc has nothing to do with the possibility of bankrupt. They paid 1 million to Davie yards creditor to acquired the shipyards facilities. So the debts remains to Davie Yards and they are currently closing this company.

A new laker is on it's way. It's the Algoma Mariner. At the beginning, it was a forebody replacement on the Algoport but the ship sunk on it's way to China. So they made a new stern section that match with the forebody that was planned to go on the Algoport.

I heard that this tug was bought by ocean group to replace the tug Escorte on the great lakes. The tug is at Isle-Aux-Coudres for her five year dry dock survey. Her last dry dock was on october 2005. If it's true that this tug was bought by ocean group, they will probably repainted her in ocean color.
