Aleksi,  thank you for investigating this. Very much appreciated. Regards Tony

Hi Paul, I noticed the same thing. Unless it is a request from family it seems a shame. Would be nice to remember his legacy and commitment to the site.

Sad news, I met Clyde on a number of occasions at coffee spots around the harbour. I learned to respect his passion for ships, this site and his family. He will be sadly missed, he has left us with good memories and many fine photographs.

Hi  Aleksi thanks for responding, seems this is a European site, if you had a more global admin this would not be a problem. Ie 24 hours coverage. Cheers

I can appreciate Owen's concern and understand that a lot of us only view thum nails, mainly due to the slow response. Interesting though today I visited the lighthouse category and the top six posts had the same number of hits double that of the next post. Interesting.
On another subject forum posts some are inappropriate ie "how to improve spided solatire and What bmtcallulaes. They  have remained for a couple of hours so far. This did not happen in the past. I had a photo deleted within 30 minutes yet these posts still exist. So in summary I tend to agree with Owen all is not well with this site. Hopefully things will improve.

Anthony, same problems with me. when logging in I always get "try again later" and then download of photos is very slow, so I now tend not to click on photographs.  Not experiencing any issues with other sites. Hopefully it will be resolved in the near future.

Thanks Pieter for the update, for me the speed had deteriorated to the extent even when logged in I can no longer view images without being frustrated. Will be patient and look forward to it being resolved.

Fleetmon identify the likes and I find it interesting. It may encourage greater usage of the likes option, I must admit I have tended to overlook it.
I would support this option.

Also the expanded sort menu I find very useful - ongoing improvements.

Pieter, many thanks for pointing out this feature - to me most valuable. I had a few photos scanned from negatives with spider web marks. I am now able to treat the negs and remove the marks. Re posting one by one. Cheers

Like previous comments I have tried to be patient with this new site. It has become a site plagued with ads, and has lost many of the features that
made it appealing to me and it seems many others. I am still posting, however no longer "surf" photographs. ( more ads than photos and the remove ad feature does not work ). I stay, fingers crossed that things will improve, patience is running out. Very disappointing.

Hi Pieter, certainly much improved photograph with the filter. I have one on my canon 600d lens, and like you very happy with the results. Thanks for mentioning. Regards Tony

For some reason I cannot log in on iphone 13, tells me I am banned from forum. Works fine on PC windows 11,  google chrome. Any clues?

Clyde, totally agree with your comments. I did not give permission for my photos to be posted on social media, and am disappointed there was no prior communication on this issue. I do not want my photos posted on social media through a second party, and am considering my options. Furthermore I have totally lost interest in the site, a number of viewing options no longer work that were of interest to me. I think that Caio and James need to start listening and respond If they do not wish, certainly me  and others to leave altogether.

Hi Paul, I think the issue is that users a frustrated with the site, still a lot of issues. My big issue is that ads continue to override the pages I am viewing. I previously spent many hours scrolling through, now at best 10 minutes per day. I have now joined fleetmon not as good as the old site but ok. I know what the owner was trying to achieve however does not work for me. Cheers
