Hello Together

I am looking for a GA Plan of a Fortune Type Vessel https://www.shipspotting.com/photos/big/6/8/4/2900486.jpg, Freedom Type Vessel https://www.shipspotting.com/photos/middle/1/4/9/3422941.jpg  and Friendship vessel https://www.shipspotting.com/photos/big/6/9/2/48296.jpg
The background of this search is as follows.
In the 1:1250 scale ships model world still this kind of ships are missing. Specially as they was build as a further replacement for the old Liberty Vessels same as the Germnan Liberty and the SD 14 it wwould be good to have this Fortune Type as well due to the fact that the German Liberty and the SD 14 exist as model in this small scale.
The Fortune type and the replacements as named Freedom and Friendship was build from the late 1960 to the middle of 1980 in Japan, Taiwan, Singapore and Argentina. Ordered by numerous companies from Greece they also found owners in the whole world (Argentina, Norway, Cuba, Yugoslavia)
Would be great to if somebody could help, hope may some members are aware of a plan or even have one owned.

Please contact me  in case

Best regards from the north of Germany

Hello together

Top Picture - http://shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=2482532

I am a member since 2005 and never had a idea that we have also a category "armament". Okay, I am also not that interested in the grey vessels but when I get one of the navy vessel in front of my camera I take the shot but from the "ship".
But today I was a bit surprised and that brought me to write a comment
I am really quite astonished how a simple gun made it to the Top Pics........That brings myself to think about that really nice and beautifull pics where as example some seagull is present get deleted becaused it is called a obstruction. Okay that is standart of the site i can hardly accept but I except. But here in this case "nothing" at all which gave me the idea that the picture is related to a vessel except the headline for the pic. My question whats the idea  of the site shipspotting or armament show. Next think may I will see is the revolver or pistol from one of the safety guards........... forget it

My opinion - we should stick tothe world of ships, navy and merchant, but ships, not armaments. .
The Internet world have enough possibilities to get some info about armaments, guns and the other navy and army stuff, use this.
Just keep it close to the name of the site it is called "Shipspotting"

My point of view

Hello together

may a story worth to read at Silvester when most of the people a ready to celebrate.

2004 I got invited by the seamans Priest in Valparaiso Mr. Asmus. He picked me up in San Antonio and showed me some places ashore. When we passed a bridge close to the port of San Antonio, where a river goes by to the pacific he told me that years ago a scandinavian vessel (He thought it was Norwegian but not 100 % sure) missed the entrance to the Port of San Antonio and ended up in the delta of the mentioned River close to the bridge. When the authorities entered the vessel they founf the complete Crew drunken - may it was the silvester night to New year. Somebody can confirm this story and may even know the name of this vessel.

Best regards
Andreas Schlatterer (Capesize) and happy new year

Shipping News and information / Wrong Infos for vessel
« on: May 11, 2011, 09:55:22 AM »
Hello together

May it is the wrong place to ask but how comes that sometimes the wrong automatic info in ship details  are given. As example the Dublin Express - wrong info about her original name , flag and so on and so on.

Category: Containerships built 2001-2010
IMO: 9232577
MMSI : 235597000
Callsign : VQEN3
Flag : United Kingdom

or
Ship Name: MAERSK DALE
IMO: 9232577
MMSI: 235597000
Callsign: VQEN3
Flag: United Kingdom

The Dublin Express  was build and sailed first as
Contship Australis
later on the vessel had for some time the name Maersk Dale but since almost 3 years the vessel is sailing as Dublin Express under German Flag (not UK) with the callsign DDSB2.
Who is updating this datas, for sure they are not amateurs (who will do such a amount of work) but on the other Side if they are professionals I would expect to have after tree years their program updated.

Hello
under www.oltship.de you will find under "AktuelleSchiffe" some pics which are out of shipspotting. May the specific members give their o.k.may not. For me, as long as the shipping companies ask for permission to do that, it is okay, and at least they should give some info about the copyright.

« on: November 28, 2009, 06:26:19 PM »
Hello

Today I found  one of my pics on a Website named (Eaglespeak.us).My name as copyright was mentioned but i never gave my o.k. to make this pic public on this page.
Actually the term " from Shipspotting.com and used in accord with Shipspotting terms of use." is used.
May I am blind but where I can find this terms of use. Only to mention that many pictures used for piracy reports in this website are out of shipspotting.
I am not quite sure this website is officially by US Goverment (Navy part) made  or by a  private citizen.

May someone has an idea
