I understand on 30 Nov 2013 FPSO Prelude is out of dry dock of Samsung Heavy Industries. Displacement of the giant is some 600000 tons, length 488 meters.

On Nov 21 2010 Somali pirates highjacked Chinese semi-submersible heavylift cargo vessel Tai An Kou. Vessel was pirated off Oman in Arabian sea, reports Lloyd, no other information available at present, no news from NATO or EU NAVFOR yet. Tai An Kou IMO 9223277, dwt 20247, built 2002, flag China, owner COSCO.
