Site related news, functions and modules / Capture date - Incorrect
« on: March 04, 2018, 10:58:12 PM »
Dear fellow shipspotters,

Do you experience that the "Capture date" is always showing one day earlier than the actuall capture date?
I have noticed recently, that absolutely all photos I post get a capture date one day before I have actually shot the picture.

(And yes, I have checked date on camera, date on computer. My Lightroom captures correct date from the camera)

Collision in the Korean strait between a vessel on sea-trial Gravity Highway and the Aurora Tanker Maritime Maisie.
All crew ok.
But to state that no cargo was spilled, is for mu not understandable looking at the pictures.

Bolivar Roads is at the entrance of the Houston Ship Channel, between Bolivar Island and Galveston Island.
It is also used for anchorage for vessels with draft up to 34 feet. But limited space.

Hello
For your information Sludge can an most often comes from heavy fuel oil. And it is strictly prohibited to pump into the sea. Most modern ships today can however incinerate the sludge and/or they are equipped with a sludge seperator which minimise the problem.

If you know India, you know that the government can say one thing and breakers/industry is still doing wathever they want to!! And it also depending on what state the ship is going to! India is a living nightmare when arriving with a ship.
