Stolen Model

The world is a small place, especially now with so much communication so if by any chance any member comes across or hears of this model, please help :-

    URGENT


    MODEL STOLEN FROM EXHIBITION

    A model was stolen today from the Toys For Boys exhibition at Old Christ Church, Waterloo Road, Waterloo. Liverpool. The model belongs to Mr. Denis Foster, Treasurer, NBMBC.

    The scale model (3'x10" approx.) was based on the Mersey Ferry, 'Leasowe' .

    Having only been completed recently it is a very distinctive model.

    The theft has been reported to Merseyside Police. If anyone should come across this model or see it advertised for sale please report it to Merseyside Police, Crosby Police Station, Liverpool on 0151 709 6010 or email [email protected] .

Mighty Servant 3 has now been raised and arrived in Cape Town 17.06.07 for examination and drydocking prior to complete refit.

Looks like the Ben hit something coming in, she has damage to the port side of her bridge. I wonder what she hit that was that high. ?

Bridges or cranes come to mind, but both the Four Bridges and Duke Street Bridge seem to be OK. Does anyone know what happened.

There is a TV program on Sunday 12th February 2006 on UK BBC 1 at 8pm ( 2000hrs ) on the discovery and outboard exploration of the wreck of the Ark in the Medi.

I have seen a preview and it looks promising.  

She is classed as a War Grave as one person lost their life and is still on board, so only the outside of her has been filmed.
