The last ship to be constructed with the old IMO system and bearing number 9999993 is an LNG tanker from Hyundai Samho, yard number 8207, for delivery in 2027.

From a quick bit of research on Equasis, it appears that IMO numbers up to 1013157 are all yachts and the first non yacht is 1013169 which is a containership from Zhoushan Changhong, yard number 2031, for delivery to MSC in 2025.

It is interesting to see that the IMO numbers have 'clocked over' from the last IMO number of 9999993 to numbers starting with 101.  This series was previously reserved for yachts and now all ships are using the same system.

The GA of the Freedom Mk2 Class can be found here: https://zousen-shiryoukan.jasnaoe.or.jp/wp/wp-content/uploads/item/funenokagaku/funenokagaku-vol21-01.pdf.  This is from a Japanese website which has pdf copies of old Naval Architecture magazines.  We did find also the Fortune and Friendship GAs as well, but we do not have the URLs.

Update: CARNIVAL FANTASY IMO 8700773 in now in the Mediterranean and the destination shown on VesselFinder.com has changed to Aliaga with an arrival date of 28th July 2020 at 0600.

Interesting to note, according to Vessel Finder, that both CARNIVAL FANTASY (IMO 8700773) and CARNIVAL INSPIRATION (IMO 9087489) are undertaking Transatlantic crossings from the Panama Canal and each with a destination of Izmir, Turkey.  Most probably these two are for Aliaga for scrap, but we have no information to confirm this.

Russell.  What is the partial name and IMO number you have.  We have our own Access database and we can search for you if you want the answer quickly.  Please advise.  By the way, our database currently lists 303022 IMO numbers.

Can you confirm the status of the HONG KONG BRIDGE, IMO 9395161 please.  She is shown by Equasis to be renamed ONE HONG KONG and is also listed in the Ocean Network Express Schedules arriving Southampton on 2nd November 2019.

VesselFinder.com has EAGLE BIRMINGHAM listed with a new name of AVENTINE and is currently in the Persian Gulf.  EAGLE BEAUMONT was passing Singapore eastbound two days ago.
