Tugboat VB HISPANIA arrived Vinaroz on 25/01/17 towing the Russian fishing vessel OBVA (8326278) and Spanish tug ERANDIO (No IMO available) from Las Palmas, both to be broken up.

According to her track in the attached AIS picture she went aground at 14 knots in a position well far of the usual track between Gibraltar and Cabo de Gata. Seems like a big mistake on board...

The vessel was refloated today (16) at 1445 UTC by the german tug URSUS and berthed at Malaga for inspection in the evening.

According to the Spanish Maritime Safety and Rescue Agency no damages reported by her master. Tugs DIHECIOCHO, SAR MASTELERO and URSUS on scene or proceeding.
