For ships coming to Maasvlakte and also leaving Maasvlakte, my favourite position is the pilotstation at the Markweg. You will have the best light conditions between 10am and 1pm.
After 1pm I go to the dike, also called Blokkendam, because you will get all the ships in- and outbound. Also the sun is there in best position (when it`s sunny :-D )
