According to Port of Gibraltar website -Daily Ships Movements updated this morning- NEW FLAME was on a voyage from New York to Isdemir. This place seems to be a steel producer located at Iskenderun (Turkey)

According to Algeciras Port Authority website TORM GERTRUD was on a voyage from Augusta to Port Everglades and she was scheduled to be at anchor at Algeciras Bay from 0600LT until 2200LT on August 12th.

According to the position at Aislive.com of the Spanish rescue boats & tug seems like vessels involved are the bulker NEW FLAME and the tanker TORM GERTRUD.
