Shame to hear of Club Harmony going for scrap. Didn't last too long after her sister. Has she reached Alang yet? Does anyone have  any photos of her or even the DAPHNE(Princess Daphne)or CORA (Coral) under demolition in Alang

Best Regards,
Damien

Hi Anthony,

Thanks for this update perhaps it is nearing her time to ground on the sands of Alang. Her moving north of Alang could just be testing her engines to see if she will manage ramming herself onto the beach. We shall see over the next few days.

Best Regards,
Damien

Hi Shaun,
Yes it is indeed a tragedy to see her sail into the scrap heap . She was reflagged from Portugal with her port of registration being Madeira to St. Kitts&Nevis with her portt of registry currently as Bassaterre.

Best Regards,
Damien

DAPHNE (Princess Daphne) has left Souda under her own power currently making 10.8 knots with her destination listed as Port Said so it looks like Alang is her graveyard. She reported to have slipped her lines at 07:09 and departed Souda before performing a series of maneuvers off the entrance to Souda harbour and sailing finally for Port Said. If anyone can get pics of her when she gets to Port Said that would be great.

Best Regards,
Damien

It is infact to me a tragedy Glenn. She and Princess Danae, Now Lisboa of Portuscale Cruises were the only two left. Now only Lisboa remains. She had been in lay up for nearly 2 years so I'd sup[pose it should have been expected. However she will leave behind many happy memories for those who sailed on her.

It looks as though Classic International Cruises will seize to exist in just a few months as Princess Daphne was reported by Ricardo Martins in My Takkes that she has been sold to Indian interests for scrap in Alang. She is currently still in Souda, Greece but is due to depart for the final time on May 12th for Alang, India to be cut up for scrap. Her name has been shortened to DAPHNE forthe voyage with her port of registration being listed as St. Kitts & Nevis.
Is there anyone that can supply a final few pictures of her prior to her departure from Souda and get some pictures of her final departure?

Best Regards,
Damien

I thought either Gardenia or Larkspur was sold to an oil firm for use as an accomodation. Guess not.
