Hi Steve,

I wondered why there wasnt a tug forecast to take her out, it will probably be Ormesby Cross bringing her up.

Tenax is here to tow out the dredger Sand Serin, ETD tomorrow morning.

All the best

Hi Steve,

Good to see she is coming back, Svitzer Mull left the Tees for Holland last year and has now been renamed! Looks like we might be getting Phoenix Cross back then?

Hi Steve,

I think she was towed out to make room for Clemenceau. Once Tux was out of the way they then moved two of the American ones over to the other side of the basin so Clemenceau could slide right in the middle. Im unsure, but when Tux was first put in the basin, it was just for storage? But I think were all agreed that she is probably past her sea worthy life.

Good find!

I caught her on the the off chance moored up last year: Tees Sentinel

She was on the River when Clemenceau came in with her survery sign replaced with a police sign, its one fast little craft!

Hi Dave,

I dont think that i can help you out with every vessel, but definatly some.

I think the main one would of the been the arrival of the aircraft carrier Clemenceua, destined for the TERRC Basin. Towed in by the Anglian Earl which did not berth, she later departed for Kirkwall once the river was clear.
Before the carrier, on the same day. The containership Linda departed Teesdock and the gen cargo Lianne arrived. Once the carrier was out of the channel, the Sider Montedeprocida and chemical tanker Speciality departed. The Eleonora Lembo (Ex - Ocean Prima) then arrived.

On the 3rd of February, i caught the bulker C.Laurel departing Redcar Ore Terminal. Then the gen cargo, 'Carrier' arrived. Soon followed by the LPG Tanker 'Lady Stephanie'.

Thats pritty much all i can help you with, have you tried looking at the 'Ships Departing over the last 7 days' and arriving on www.thpal.co.uk/shippingreports ?

Good Luck

Regards

Shipping News and information / 1 Killed in Tees Drydock Accident
« on: February 11, 2009, 06:17:42 PM »
Hi All,

Ive watched this very sad story on the local news.

A worker suffered major injuries when the anchor of the dredger, 'Sand Heron' drop ontop of him in the A&P Tees drydock. The anchor had to be removed by a mobile crane then the man was airlifted to hospital. Where unforunatly he later died.

Very sad news indeed, my sympathies go out to his friends and family.

Regards
