If you are not aware, and are in the Southampton area on 3rd July with your camera , P&O is celebrating its 175th birthday by having 7 cruise ships in the port together.

That's 3rd July 2012!
Hoping to be there for this epic event...what a sight it will be. Apparently after the ships depart, there will be some sort of gathering out at sea, no doubt with much blowing of the ships whistles.

175th Birthday? Yet the present day Carnival brand known as P&O for marketing purposes is completely unrecogniseable from the REAL P&O, a company that hasn't existed in the true form for some years.
We can all thank Lord Sterling for destroying that historic and most British of shipping companies.
