Title: Berge's soon to be completed bulkers?
Post by: Radu on May 22, 2010, 09:35:55 AM
Berge Bulk Fleet (http://www.bwbulk.com/pages/sub_pages.asp?p=10)

Bottom of the list, 4  388.000 DWT VLOC, are they being constructed as we speak or soon to be started?

If they are, does anyone have any pictures or plans or anything?

Thanks

You'll be hard pressed to find photos of the BW newbuildings as construction of the first ship is unlikely to have started yet! Delivery is slated for 4/2011. All 4 ships are being built by Bohai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co. Ltd. Hull numbers as follows:

BH416-1 - 4/2011
BH416-2 - 8/2011
BH416-3 - 12/2011
BH416-4 - 4/2012

At such an early stage, very little info is available in the public domain. You could try contacting BW Limited, but don't hold your breath for a reply.

Brgds
