Title: Where is m/v Ida?
Post by: csaba on October 11, 2016, 05:21:13 AM
I have been following this ship on shiptracking for a while. Then she headed for Iraclion (Greece) where she was moored at the end of a very long pier for few months. Her position was transmitted regularly for few months and then a week or so ago it stopped. Her last position is still listed as Iraclion.
Anybody has any info about her? Her IMO is 9109536
Thanks...

Probably in cold lay up. That would explain the lack of AIS transmissions. She's also out of class and for sale.

Last position on Marine Traffic is indeed 21/9/2016 11.09UTC alongside the breakwater extension at Iraklion.  Vesselfinder, FleetMon have similar.

However AISlive has her in the same position datestamped this morning (11th) at 08.06UTC.  Whether this is real or not I cannot say.

Still in Heraklion at the same place as in my photo here :

Next to her is another ship of the same company, the fourth of this company at Heraklion the last year, named COMET (IMO 9146106). See here :

COMET first came to Heraklion in May, left after a week and came back about a month ago. Both are still in Heraklion port.

Before them there was PLUTO (IMO 9432531) :

and OLGA (9109548) :
