Title: Egypt building security wall at entrance to the Suez Canal

Authorities are building a 65 km security fence at the southern entrance to the Suez Canal.

Due to Security concerns have heightened with the political tensions in Egypt and in late August 2013 an attack by militants on the containership Cosco Asia. At least 45% completed and the full length of this security fence will be 65 km long.
