It is with sadness that I have to announce the death of one of our members.
His name is Jurij Stanovnik (Mara) from Slovenia Ljubljana, he joined the website on May 18th 2006 and has contributed many interesting photographs over the years and covered practically all the ships that visited Koper and also many other locations.
He was dedicated to Shipspotting.com and his contributions will be greatly missed.
Condolences have been sent to his wife and family on behalf of the website.
Regards
Ken

Oh dear, that is very sad! :'( I hope he did not suffer. I enjoyed his contributions a lot and he seemed quite knowledgable as well. My condolences to his family and I wish them all the best in what must be difficult times for them.

Jurij RIP !
We lost a special member of our community, he was living for shipspotting!
His knowladge about ships and everything around shipping was HUGE!
Just check his pics and all the data about vessels! Also take a look on pics from his trips - he sailed Suez canal 2 times just for shipspotting - then Malacca straight, Singapore, Istanbul , Rotterdam ... etc
Jurij thank you for everything
Rest in peace my friend :'(
