Thank you Fred, for the many fine videos you continue to produce, edit, and post.
A few questions:
Regarding loads on container vessels, to me the loads seem significantly reduced compared to what the carrying capacity of the vessels can haul. Do you see and have the same feeling? The load on the Estelle Maersk seems to drive this point home. A few of the vessels you film have a very large load, but so very many of them are running very low. Your comments would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance Fred.

Hi Maripaul,
Your observations are quiet right. Everytime the global economy is going down, it shows instantly on deck of the boxships. Today the MOL Modern came in with a full load, which was nice to see.
Also the amount of ships coming in seems very low to me.
Just a matter of time, before it

Fred once again thanks so much for your fantastic videos. Don,t know if it,s old age or what but they seem to be getting better all the time.In regard to container ships arriving rotterdam with less than full loads, do they perhaps call at other ports before rotterdam such as southampton, felixstowe, algericas or others, or is what they carry come direct from say china to rotterdam, with smaller ships such as feeder lines redirecting & carrying goods offloaded in rotterdam to other ports. God bless & have great day. "BOB".

Hi BOB,
Thank you. Indeed the big boxships visit many other ports before they come to Rotterdam. Nevertheless the ships aren't as heavy loaded as before.
Cheers Fred

Currently exports and imports are very low in the UK at the moment. I deal with export shipments from the UK and one shipping line is offering freight rates of -$100.00 per 40' container, yes the minus sign is correct that is the current state of the UK market.
Really enjoy your videos Fred.
