If fotojoe wishes to stop posting his ship sales because of some misguided and unfounded opinion of admins, that's up to him. I can very easily step in and post lists of sales and demolitons, if people are interested.

Phil

Hi Phil

Yes I would be very interested.

Unfortunately this sort of action by fotojoe only hurts the members.

I do feel that i have to reply in defence of fotojoe, He has done a wonderful job, which i hope he will continue, he has provided this infomation this without a thank you from anyone on this site every time he has posted.

Saying "I can step in and post" i feel is a slap in the face to him, not a very good statment to post Phil.

What a shame

Huh?

What nonsense. Fotojoe has well and truly thrown his toys out of the pram. If you don't like me offering to 'step in' - tough. It seems that many members are happy for me to do so.

Quote "he has provided this infomation this without a thank you from anyone on this site "

When these postings first appeared many members did in fact say how much they appreciated them and expressed the desire to see them on a regular basis.
In fact a whole new forum was started just for these reports.

It was very kind of Phil to "step in", no doubt because he knew how much members enjoyed these.

Penalising the members because of a disagreement with the moderators does not earn much sympathy.

Regards

Tony

Sorry I don't know your name as you give no info.

But if you look more closely, you will find that myself and others have, infact, posted our thanks to fotojoe for the information he has given.  So he has not been posting 'without thanks'.

good evening all,
is the shipsales forum to be continued? this forum is actually the main reason i have been looking into shipspotting so far. I thought there was some interest in continuing this and even volunteers have raised their engagement in this area. of course, if fotojoe would continue his excellent service, it would be most appreciated. but right now i can't believe, that no sales have occurred in the last few weeks.
please keep this topic alive
kindest regards
trollson

Dear Mr. Tony,
May I introduce myself that I am Daniel M. Maung from Burma, recently joined this forum with much appreciated to learn about ship sale. In fact, I and my associates from UAE seeking for the roro/lolo vsl with 7000dwt, built in 79/81, but our client budget is around 1.5M USD only, so May I request your opinion that either possible to get with his budget in present market or not? If that so, kindly pls guide me the right track to get the right one. Really appreciated for your suggestion if anything you able to give me? best wishes.
