Bermuda investigation into U.S. cruiser's
Bermuda Maritime police are investigating why the officers and crew of an American luxury cruisers turned a deaf ear to help in rescuing fishing boats, near the coast of Panama last month. Transport Minister Derrick Burgess said in a statement that the failure to provide help in trouble aboard a criminal offense under the maritime law of Bermuda, where the STAR PRINCESS registered.
