Shipping News and information / Re: Database update

Hi,
I think we may have to accept paying a fee, for up to date information. Not sure how site users feel.Perhaps Marinetraffic may be a solution. If enough people pay,it may not be too expensive,it depends on how much people want the information
Best wishes

Sad news indeed. Is there any way shipspotting.com could obtain any of the information they have?It seems such a pity it should just be gone forever.

As regards"miraflores" remarks,as long as I don't switch off computer I can log in again. If I switch off computer,I have to type in log in details again.I have contacted them on this, and am waiting for reply.

Hi, the only trouble I have is keeping my login details. If I delete history,I have to type it all in again. This does n't happen on shipspotting,it will always remember my login info.Anyone got any ideas?
Many thanks

Shipping News and information / Markings on Spanish fishing vessels
« on: September 16, 2011, 06:22:15 PM »
Hi,
Can anyone explain the markings on the hulls of Spanish fishing vessels,ei.3a-CO-2_03-94.?
I believe the CO is the home port, and the 94 might be the year built, but not sure of the rest.
Thank you
