Title: Dirty scumbag
Post by: phantom53 on November 01, 2013, 06:53:06 PM
Hi all, just to let you know that i wont be posting any photos for a while, as some dirty scumbag lifted my camera bag and all my gear, while i was on holiday >:(.
The upseting part was part of the holiday was a cruise, visiting some interesting ports, which were all bursting with loads of of ships, and me there with no camera :'(.
So i hope whoever took it has absolutly no luck or fun with it :(.
I'm on the look for a replacement just now, but dont know how long i will be without, but i hope not to long, so i can get back into the swing again.

Cheers

I can fully appreciate how you feel.  Mine was nicked from My car in the driveway.  I didn't give a dame about the camera gear, that was replaceable I would have just would have liked them to lift me with the film that was in it.

Sorry to hear about that Phantom. Did you see if the bar had CCTV as that could help the police if you have been to them.

It was in a kerbside bar in Calla Millor, Mallorca. 5 days into our hotel part of the holiday, and 2 days before we were due to get on the ship for the cruise part. And to say i was gutted would be an understatment.

Hi Nick, very few CCTV units along the fronts in these places, and when i asked the police if it had been handed in, was told practially nothing is ever handed in.
Much the same script from the bar owner and staff

So the moral of the story is to get your wife to pay in future !

Glad you have got a new camera now, I would be really lost without mine.

Cheers, Dan.
