I have a few questions about these shipyards. As I understand there all in the Volharding group. But they are three shipyards. Correct?
Sometime it says that a ship is built at Volharding Bodewes, is it built at bouth Volharding and Bodewes then? And sometimes it says Volharding Foxhol, but as I understand Volharding is located at Hoogezand?

1. B.V. Scheepswerf. J. Pattje ceased trading a few years ago. I believe that the site was taken over by a new company, but they too have experienced difficulties. As far as I know, this yard had / has no connection to the Volharding group.
2. Volharding shipyards group has been in serious financial difficulties for a year or so and, I believe, are trying to restructure. They had sites at Eemshaven, Harlingen and Foxhol, as well as a joint venture yard in Turkey. Try their website for more info. http://www.volharding.nl/
2. Scheepswerven Bodewes B.V. is a completely unrelated shipyard to the Volharding group and has a healthy orderbook. They are located in Hoogezand. Check their website http://www.bodewesshipyards.nl/

Also,Volharding ceased building new Vessels in Harlingen.
Last vessel was IIRC Clipper Sola.
I do believe they are still repairing vessels there,
even though that may not be Volharding.
Their building location has been taken over by a
builder of multimillion dollar megayachts.
