Perhaps it's just a decoy? Let an old vessel go through the Panama Canal with some harmless (useless?) missile part, get caught and attract all the attention while the real deal pass unnoticed round the Horn or Good Hope.

Java script and Java are two entirely different things with only the name in common. While Java scrpt is merely a scripting language Java is a full blown programming language.

Ad blocking software has a tendancy to want to turn the use of Java script off to prevent adsfrom showing up. Make sure Java script is turned on in your browser. Other protective software can also turn Java script off without you knowing it.

On the Marine Traffic page with your photo there is a link labeled "Contact the photographer". This brings up a form which can be used to cantact this eledged photographer. I doubt, however, that you will ever get any respons.

Oh my! That's really something else. Designed by a Baywatch-fan, I shouldn't wonder.
Eventhough it looks like it's going to tip over by the first gust of wind, I think it's actually quite stable.
Wonder if they use it for duck hunting as well
