Good day All,

Aside from the below UK coastal ship owners, any others to note?

This is focusing on the dry cargo side, not tankers etc.

Absolute Shipping
Amberseas Maritime
Arklow
Carisbrooke
Coastal Lines Shipping
Charles M Willie
Dundalk Shipping
Faversham Ships
Ferguson
Gillie and Blair
Great Glen Shipping
Mezeron
Scotline
Thames Shipping

Any info most welcome!

Arklow Shipping are based in the Republic of Ireland, not U.K.

Amberseas, as I understand it, no longer are owning tonnage.

Amberseas still seem to control AMBER TRADER (IMO 9180853)

Dundalk Shipping also Irish.

Cannot think of any others, apart from a few which really only estuarial (like J J Prior).

Didn't Exe Shipping cease trading?

Torbulk - shipmanagement only - no ownership of vessels.

J.J. Prior - Estuarial only (as mentioned by Davidships).

As far as I know both Rix and Fishers no longer own dry cargo ships, only tankers

I understand Exe have 5 vsls??

Fluvius Plym, Axe, Tamar, Otter and Taw?

Managed in the Amasus pool?

Exe Shipping:  All five 'Fluvius' ships appear in the Amasus online fleet and, I think, carry their logo.

FLUVIUS AXE/PLYM/OTTER are owned by one-ship UK companies and managed by Exe Shipping. Those three companies probably have Amasus investment as there is an Amasus appointed director, Arend-Jan Rozema
FLUVIUS TAMAR/TAW  are owned by Quay Marine Services BV, apparently an Amasus subsidiary

However, the owners of Exe Shipping (Simon & Pauline Lyon-Smith and David Mason) also own Quay Marine Services Ltd - and David & Helen Mason own Quay Shipping Ltd.  So I wouldn't be surprised if they are also involved in Quay Marine Services BV
