Bahia Castillo has been renamed Spirit of Shanghai and Bahia Negra has been renamed Spirit of Sydney

MSC appear to be phasing out the Mare Phoenicium and Mare Arcticum on the Capricorn Service and their February slots are being advertised as TBA

Buxstar is to be replaced by the as yet unidentified MSC Patricia on the Capricorn Service.

I am going to the Avalon Air Show next year (01/03/2013- 03/03/2013). I have a couple of free days and would like to do some shipspotting while I'm in Melbourne.  Can anyone recommend a good place to take photos of ships arriving or departing?

Updates from previous posts that will take effect in 2013.

COSCO have replaced the Cosco Yingkou with the JPO Tucana is schedule to arrived in NZ in January 2013.

MSC Regina has now replaced E.R. Fremantle.

OOCL New Zealand has now replaced CSAV Lonquimay on the North Asia Express service.

COSCO are replacing Cosco Fuzhou with "Aglaia" IMO 9400215. She is due Auckland 1 February 2013.

Southern Lily will be replaced by a larger vessel in Auckland on the 27 January of 2010.

Posen has been replaced by the Mol Sparkle that will have her maiden vist into Auckland on the 10 January.

Torino will make a maiden vist into Auckland on the 14 Feb.

Toscana will also make a maiden vist into Auckland I think on the 6 March.

why is the ANNAPURNA(Built: 1992,imo: 9014793) anchored beside Rangitoto Island in Auckland. The Annapurna has been at Auckland since the 31 July 2009 and it is schedule to depart on the 15 september 2009. Does anyone know why it is here for so long.

Mol Mauo has got replaced by the Mol Miracle

MSC Kiwi Service
MSC Kiwi has got replaced by the MSC Rugby

The car carrier ATLANTIC SPIRIT will call into Auckland on the 9/02/2009 from Japan and leave on the 10/02/2009

A sea-tow barge will beach its self from high winds and huge waves from one of the biggest storms in the last decade and will beach on the North Shore of Auckland.
