the last signal of the mighty BERGE STAHL is Labuan Anchorage in the Bay of Brunei and is several months old. Does anyone know what is happening there?

Funny, I checked her yesterday before you posted this and I ended with the same question you have. Perhaps it just stopped sending out AIS signals.

Funny, Pieter! I assume it is just this but I asked myself why? Waiting for a new order, laid up for a long time or this is possibly the beginning of a trip for a never ending beach vacation ...

for a graphic drawing I am looking for a floor plan of a Valemax bulkcarrier. At best it would be a plan of the sisters BERGE EVEREST, JAYA, ACONCAGUA, NEBLINA. But a plan from another bulker of this size would also help me a lot.

can someone in the community provide information about the Dockwise heavyloader BLUE MARLIN and FORTE? The former comes from Stavanger with destination Vlissingen, FORTE is scheduled to arrive tomorrow in Rotterdam. I would be interested to know if the ships might carry a rig on deck or so.

Hey folks,


"Star Bright" is still alive! Recently reported to be sold to Chittagong she dropped anchor off Colombo a few days before and is heading for Dubai now. Already got a very innovate name "Brighten" for her final voyage when she left Singapore ...

Does anybody have a clue what her coming purpose is? I shouldn't be surprised at all when she is going for Dubai Dry Docks!

the Tall Ships Race 2016 takes place in Antwerp this weekend. Do we have to expect some restrictions on merchant shipping after this weekend? I guess not but maybe some professionals from the Western Scheldt can confirm my assumption.

Shipping News and information / "Berge Fjord" notified for Rotterdam

Hello shipspotting community,

Berge Fjord is calling Rotterdam once again within the next weeks. She has finished bunkering operation at the Canaries this morning and is actually heading for north. I still can't believe that one of the oldest VLOC in service is about to visit a northern european port precisely because her sistervessel "Berge Vik" recently ended on a beach and they both plied between Brazil and China in times past.

All the better, certainly the last chance to catch this beauty here. Fingers crossed, a first ETA is given 9.08 1400.
