Post by: Arne J on April 12, 2015, 07:16:49 PM
Hi all,
enclosed I'll show you some pics of my former Graupner BUGSIER 3 tug, which was rebuilt into BUGSIER 14 by myself.

Hello

I suppose you took this pictures yourself with the camera in one hand and the RC on the other : on four pictures three are cut with missing part on forward or aft  ...

It's just a joke as myself I'm modeller and also with tugs. So I well know this problem

By the way, nice built, this kit was my dream when I was young.

Best regards

Xtian

Wonderful models, Arne & Daniel!  Left me almost speechless from seeing!  ;D

How long are they & are they scratch-built?

Hello Denis,
my tug was a modelkit from Graupner, which could be bought until this company went bankrupt some years ago. The kit called "BUGSIER 3". A lot of BUGSIER 3 can be seen on german pools, so I decided to rebuilt a sister of this one. BUGSIER 14 had another Superstructure and a fire monitor. 26 years ago, the BUGSIER kit was given to me by my parents as a birthday gift. One week ago, the maidenvoyage could be started after the model served so many years as a kind of "dust collector"  ;). The rebuilt/ refresh has taken 4 weeks.

Yeah, that's a lot of money. One year ago, you could buy this kit for 150
