Title: List of worldwide over 5000 containerships

Good evening,

After three days of intensive work, the time has come:
my list of globally active or under construction container ships is up to date again.
Data from about 5200 ships, put together to the best knowledge and belief, without claim to completeness.
235 pages pdf, free download.
For hints about mistakes I am grateful
Above all, references from the field of new buildings are gladly accepted.

Thank you for taking the time to produce & share your list.

May I offer some feedback, as I have noticed that you still have these ships under the Marshall Islands flag, they were all transferred to the Danish International flag (DIS) late last year

Just the other day I was talking to a fellow shipspotter and we were wondering how many container ships might be sailing around the Seven Seas - our guesses were far out! ;D

You have my thanks as well, I have a great containership db now that is expanded on one of yours from a couple of years ago. Actually merged the current and disposed vessel pages and added original and latest owners, build and disposal details. Appreciate the effort you put in as I update with new names and new ships but it suits me very well and made so much easier for my research and photo tracking.

Which ships are meant? I have intentionally excluded all ConRo ships, as this again represents a completely different category, think of all the Grimaldis etc.
Otherwise, I have kept in choosing the ships at equasis, i know that many general cargos container drive or can drive.
