Shipping News and information / Ukrainian pirate trawler got fire in Mauritania

The Large fishing trawler IVAN GOLUBETS - imo 8859782 under Georgian flag reportedly owned by Ukrainian company and managed by Canada based office got fire in Mauritania. The vessel had no name or any identification letters onboard during accident confirming so she's a typical pirate trawler illegally catching resources.  The AIS was switched off as well.

Last night MSC Zoe has lost about 270 containers during stormy weather near Borkum.
Some containers contain chemicals but the type or consistency still unclear.
