As a regular user I am much saddened by the loss of this service. A short cut to places like Oostvorne with my bike. It will be much missed when we return (if ever) to the Netherlands with our bikes.

Hi Derek, i wish i had been there as early as your first visit, you must have some fantastic memories, just a few years before my first trip i had to settle with on average about 5 or 6 ships per tide for quite a few hours standing around, my first day there blew me away, cloud 9 after what i had been used to.

My first visit to the New Waterway was October 1974. Then I could not afford to photograph everything that came past! I have scanned a few slides from that time and subsequent yearly visits. However I was not much of a photographer then!

Hi David,

I am getting a triangle with an exclamation mark in it. When clicked it states the connection is not secure and not to enter any sensitive info such as credit cards etc.

My browser is "Opera" which is up to date.

Not sure Pieter I have not approached them, I just post low resolution shots and expect them at times to be stolen or used without permission. Its happened so many times now its endemic

Unfortunately as soon as one of these copyright infringers is stopped another surfaces. Sometimes the same one with a different account, or on a different website, app etc.
If you place your images on line you always run the risk of them being stolen and re-used, re-posted etc without credit.Mine are appearing everywhere and I have given up worrying about it. The choice is if you want people to see your images then you have to place them on line. Or you can take them and keep them for yourself or an exclusive group of trusted contacts.
