Bulk carrier TAWE has gone aground at Punta San Garcia, Algeciras only a few miles away from where the Fedra is being battered by the Easterly gales. Spanish Coastguard Tug Clara Campoamor in attendance but with no line attached. Same place as Sierra Nava went aground January 2007

Manuscan,
Your links are for FEDRA not for TAWE.
Pictures of both vessels (new angles) can be seen here (http://www.elmundo.es/albumes/2008/10/11/barcos/index.html)

The bulk carrier TAWE was pulled off the rocks at Algeciras yesterday evening. She was succesfully pulled out by the Boluda tugs based at Algeciras and the larger VB ARTICO under the supervision of Svitzer Salvage. The ship was then taken to the shipyard at San Roque where she will be surveyed and repaired.
