The fast ferry "Capricorn" has been sold and will be converted into a 150m+ superyacht.

Ambitious project - will be interesting to see if it is completed and what the final build looks like.

Afternoon All.

For those in the area - the ex-Onassis M/Y Christina O arrived at Chatham docks over the weekend where she will be spending the winter.  Certainly not a regular visitor to the UK - in fact the last time would likely have been when Onassis was still alive!

Hello - would anyone have information as to the current status of "Mercator II"?  Latest information that I can find is around 18 months out of date stating that the vessel was in bremerhaven awaiting conversion works which had started but stalled.

I assume the money ran out, but is the vessel still in Bremerhaven, or could it have moved?
