Here comes a small aid for those who plan shipspotting visit to Dubrovnik. The following link https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=z-bh00mx-0Dg.kEopaxw7Ixx0&msa=0 will bring you to a Google map with number of placemarks, each located to suggested shipspotting location or target in Dubrovnik. If you open description of most of the placemarks you can find links to shipspotting.com or other photos taken from subject location or showing the target area. Wishing you nice weather, and have fun.

Very nicely done, Luko.
In nearby Ploče, do you - or Helen - know what looks like a large tank-barge tied up by the oil tanks and with an anti-pollution boom around it?

Someone accessed that bank to get the two photos on map page.

Shown in Ploče is a floating oil storage PČ 1, forepart and cargo section of tanker ISOMERIA IMO 5165178, built in 1956 at St. Nazaire for Societe Maritime Shell Francais. In 1967 she was jumboised at La Seyne and old sections were sold to Yugoslavia. As ZD 1 she was used at Zadar and in 2001 arrived at Ploče. Rgds
