Oldenburg-Portugiesische Dampfschiffs-Rhederei (OPDR) and Feeder and Container Operator Team Lines are setting up a new domestic and feeder service between the ports of Bilbao, Felixstowe and Rotterdam. They say that the new service will provide a fixed day schedule with fast transit times between Northern Spain and the UK as well as the rest of Northern Europe.
There's a news video on the video page, and on Shipping TV, of course.

Interesting that the relocation of OPDR services from Felixstowe to Tilbury happens so soon after the cooperation with Team Lines is announced.

HI
ODPR LINE are leaving Felixstowe and will soon start Tilbury which dosent make much sense as its about another 3 hours to tilbury from the sunk.

I'd be be surprised if they use the Sunk, because with OPDR's relatively small ships (700TEU, drawing about 6 metres) they will probably use the Princes Channel into the Thames, dredged to 8 metres below chart datum.
This will probably even out the distances in steamed mileage.

First call on Wednesday 4th December 2013 by OPDR Cadiz followed by OPDR Tanger on Friday 6th December 2013, and OPDR Tenerife on Tuesday 10th December 2013.
