Hi all,
the small cruise ship Adriana is today in port of Spain. her russian woner has given up on cruises in the Black sea, no doubt a victim of the sanctions against russia. The owners had a website B&BS Cruise Company which has gone offline. Does any one perhaps know of their new Website?

thanks for your time, I checked Brodosplit website and found this drawing of the sailing ship. I also contacted the yard but as of now they have not responed, same as with Star Clippers. we shall see.

I hear from Insiders that Clipper has started to build a very large 5-masted barque, larger than their Royal Clipper, at a yard in Croatia with delivery scheduled 2017. I hvae not been able to find out which yard, there are only 4 large yards but all say they are not permitted to comment. Also direct inquiries to Clipper where responded with " no comments". perhaps some one here can shed some light on this. many thanks. locarno

Hi,
MS Magellan of Cruise & Maritime Voyages was named on 11th march. I noticed that her Lifeboats are still of the old type, namely not covered. It was my understanding that as of SOLAS 2010 all Passenger ships must have covered Lifeboats. Has that regulation been amendet later, can any one provide respective literature? I checked IMO, MSC, USCG but could not find relevant infos. many thanks.

I hear she will go to sail from Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas. so my guess is she may replace the aging ms Discovery sun of Discovery Cruises, which is owned by Mr. Raphael Ordonez, the owner of Catering outfit APOLLO SHIPCHANDLERS. We shall see.

it has been finally confriemd by lindbald, what I am wondering is does any one know which ship yard will do the extensive refurbishing and also who is the appointed ship manager for the vessel which will sail under her name  National Geographic Explorer.
