Two new tugs for Svitzer due in October 2015
SVITZER KENT to be based on the Thames & SVITZER DEBEN at Felixstowe. Both are Damen ASD 3212 tugs with 80 tonnes bollard pull built at Damen's Song Cam Shipyard in Vietnam.

Both launched this month.
SVITZER DEBEN - IMO 9695585 - Damen 512539 - launched 12/8/2015 - c/s 21VL5 [2IVL5?] - MMSI 235113128
SVITZER KENT - IMO 9695602 - Damen 512541 - launched 19/8/2015 - c/s 21VK9 [2IVK9?] - MMSI 235113124

SVITZER KENT - IMO 9695602 now inward bound in the Thames Estuary
Also heard that SVITZER DEBEN - IMO 9695585 will also be coming to the Thames for a joint naming ceremony with SVITZER KENT & also SVITZER LONDON which has been in service for a while.
Can anyone confirm that?

Svitzer Deben arrived Felixstowe yesterday :)

I have not seen the Deben yet as she is tucked up away form my camera. We have Svitzeer Victory here to at the moment making six tugs in all!!!

KENT was carrying out trials off Denton Wharf, Gravesend this afternoon. I have posted a pic of this taken from on the wharf.
