Friday last, MV Werften and Bremerhaven's Lloyd-Werft filed for insolvency. MV Werft and Lloyd-Werft belong to the Asian conglomerate Genting, which had it shares trading stopped on Hong Kong Exchange.

With new members joining Shipspotting daily and unaware of the closure of Grosstonnage website in 2015 and its "locked" data link to the "Additional Information" box and its content info being unreliable. We "oldies" know the background story that the data is locked and admin cannot tweak. However, the title "Additional Information" is under admin input/control. Perhaps, the title box wording be tweaked to read "Additional Information - questionable" or similar.

Australia has banned all cruise ships from today 14.00 AEST , originating from any foreign port. Ban to last a mininimum of 30 days.

My password checkup extension (Avast) has just advised me my shipspotting password (only used on this site) has been stolen but still in encrypted form (at the moment). Therefore I've just changed it. Curious/ advice to members.
On submitting this message to site, got error 28 from storage engine. Try again. Submitted again and then message said I'd already submitted. Is there are"gremlin /attack" in storage engine.

Subsequently on checking with Avast I received this message 15 minutes later :- We
