Thought this may be of interest to some - BC has been hit hard lately. From a scorching summer, forest fires wiping out entire communities, massive flooding, a container ship fire off the coast of Victoria and now this. The MSC Altaire has broken free of its moorings and drifted into trouble:

Hello everyone,

I was looking around on Google Earth after doing a bit of research on the Canmar (Canadian Marine Drilling) / Dome Petroleum fleet in the Beaufort Sea which lead me to looking along the Alaskan, Yukon and NWT coastlines. I came across this ship, and am very curious what it may be - I can't find anything online...
