Program at moment, only what we already know. Cruises from Gotemburg: http://www.latitudetravel.se/kryssningar-fran-goteborg

And confirmed scales in Azores islands in September...

But be stay tuned, because Portuscale already had registered one web site at www.portuscalecruises.pt at moment it is offline.

Nice to see her coming alive again she did look like she could use some steel work and a fresh lick of paint can't wait to see the finished product  :) If she is anything like Porto she will be rather impressive

A new update from Funchal, inside dry-dock shipyard visit!

The ship is under a almost total reconstruction. ALL INTERIORS are new. The spaces will look the same, but in new materials, and with modern confort and security conditions.

For some reason, (?), Funchal has been removed from the visiting list of cruise liners at Invergordon in September. Any body have any ideas?

Today fresh news!

http://mytakkes.blogspot.pt/2013/07/paquete-funchal.html (http://mytakkes.blogspot.pt/2013/07/paquete-funchal.html)

The ship is still in the works and their output yard can only happen on the 29th. The AIS signal was probably due to tests on electrical systems of the ship that are underway. Since the interior of the ship was completely rebuilt, electrical connections were all new and are only now being restored and finished. See the link to see the photos of my visit today to the ship. The ship don't will leave the shiyard in next days. You only can expect that only after 27th!

Best regards

Ricardo

I see the Funchal is cruising the Eastern Med' at the moment, but I cannot find the 'cruise' being promoted/advertised/sold. Is she on a private charter, does any one know?

I'd suppose that it is time the new livery goes on  her indeed as she has sat there on the quayside for the past months covered in rust streaks

Lisboa (ex-Princess Danae) update

The ship entered today in shipyard, it was marked yesterday, but yesterday the weather was very bad, and only today it was possible. The ship will start the hull inspections, only. Painting jobs or others aren't programed...
