Shipping News and information / Re: Car carrier DON CARLOS
« on: December 13, 2006, 07:11:59 PM »
Hi Frederik,

im also disappointed about the sites of especially EUKOR and ARC, too. There are no vessellists, so the main impement of the shipping companys are not presented to the people and customers. Are vessels a secret?
The ARC site also looks like doing by an bloody rookie in web design!
As I knew EUKOR operates 85 vessels by themselves, more than 15 another vessels are in short time charter. Here is a link for further information:

Hi,

does any one know if Don Carlos is the only one, Can it be that also Don Pasquale was outsourced of the Wallenius Wilhelmsen Service and sails for EUKOR?
I don't find her at 2wglobal.com anymore.

Hi Phil,

where does this lead to?
The MSC NURIA was old but in my not a bad one, compared to other ships this size.
I've watched her in 1994 berthing at Kaiserhafen II, at the same berth where the the Norway was layed up before she transfered to Alang.
Is that an omen?

Shipping News and information / Re: M/V Otello Wallenius Lines
« on: August 26, 2006, 07:13:50 PM »
Hi@all

who in here, who knows the history of wallenius former ships, is surprised abot that name. But now I want to ask a fun question: which name comes next?
-Faust
-Aniara
-Paraifal
-Salome
or
-Oberon
I think "Faust" will be next? Or has anybody furher information by wallenius.
Another question: is Wallenius planning to sell some vessels to EUKOR or ARC?

Best regards

Shipping News and information / Re: cougar ace sister ships
« on: July 30, 2006, 07:52:48 PM »
Hi
i found on the german site www.carcarrier.de the "eternal ace". in my view it's the only real sistership, which is exactly designed in the same way. it was build already in 1988, cougar ace was build in 1993.
there are many carcarriers of mol, which are very similar, like pearl ace, frontier ace or cattleya ace, but at least there are differences in some details.
Hope that i could help you a bit.

Best regards
Torben

Hello everybody,

I want to forecast, that the loaded cars never will be sold. Am I right when i say, there is salted water? That alone makes the chassis rusty, as you surely know.

Best regards

Torben
